Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.** Pay Range: $19.20 - $26.40 Pay: $20 hour All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time. **Position Summary:** The successful PAS Intern will use our core RNAscope® technology to determine RNA expression levels of various existing tissue samples from our inventory. This involves operating and maintaining microtome equipment to section tissues onto microscope slides, as well as utilizing Leica Bond stainers and chromogenic/fluorescent scanners to determine the resulting RNA expression levels. The PAS Intern will update our database to document all stages of experimental progress and results as well as assist in organizing samples to be returned to our clients.
